Harpists for Peace 2024

Picture

The event this year will be on September 22nd in the Marvin Auditorium, Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library. Performance time is 3:00pm.
I will be joined by other Midwest harpists (harpers). Solos, small ensembles and ensemble of the whole will be offered for your pleasure.
If you play harp and want to join along, let me know. You are more than welcome. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome.
Email me at: harperbear@att.net

Ensemble pieces will be:
Over the Rainbow (From Sharon Thormahlen's book "Under the Double Rainbow". I am not sure if she has it available as a stand alone, but it's worth asking.)
Circle Dance (by Sue Richards. Shared as part of the Folk Harp Journal. PDF below)
Simple Gifts (by RoJean Loucks) (PDF below or her website)
Let there be peace on earth (arr RoJean Loucks, also from her website) (PDF below)

Downloadable scores (parts are available separately) are below. Of course, I urge you to purchase your own legal copy of all of these works (if you haven't already).
RoJean has generously offered the parts for Simple Gifts. They are below
